My first idea was not entirely working for me so i came up with a second idea to film my three younger siblings and used them for my final project. White lines by six60 is the kind of music i want to use for my video. For my final idea i chose to base it on happiness. happiness is the cua for all negativity. happiness covers love, laughter and emotion. when people watch my video, i want them to feel the same way i do in every scene.

Song: Nyssa, 18

This first practice was taken by my phone and also edited on an app called VivaVideo. Amazing app. it allows you to use the basics of editing.

I decided i wanted to base my video on a young girl who's dream was to be free and to feel confident in her self. she's really shy but then in her dream she wakes up all confident and excited to be 18.

For me her costume was not working. The song did not fit with her scenes where she enters in that Teenage atmosphere.

This is the type of music video Im aiming for. A fun type of video that motivates you to obviously dance. Being happy is the phrase Im sending out to people. being happy is the only way to get through the tough times. stuff the negative and shine out all the positive. "Because Im happy"

This clone effect is what Im looking for in my video. This effect makes me feel like Im in the moment.

with colour is more interesting. same movements but in different positions for me gives a fun type of feeling.

Lisa Reihana

It was a great experience to have seen what Lisa has been working hard on for 6 to 7 years. Her moving image made me want to learn more about the history. The way her work was presented was nothing I've seen before.

Camera Positions
Rebbeca

1. Dolly
A dolly movement is made by either moving closer or further. A dolly shot is mainly to show expression on a characters face
Depending on a set the dolly is used either on a wheel dolly, track dolly or a slide dolly
really depending on the size of the set.

2. Pedestal
This shot can be used to make something look large as the camera scrolls up
can also be paired with close ups or a tilt if you really wanna make something large.

3. Truck
A shot where the camera moves side to side. It can be used in scenes where one object is following alongside with a moving image.

4. Pan
A movement is where a camera is positioned to move on a horizontal axis.
its like walking alongside a beach.

5. Tilt
This movement is the same as a Pan shot but opposite. Can used to reveal elements.

Angles

Birds Eye
When the camera is looking directly at the object. Similar to a high angle.

High Angle
When your looking down at something from a high camera angle.
Can also make an object smaller than it usually is.

Low Angle
When your looking up from a low camera angle.
Can usually make things look bigger than it actually is in a movie scene.

Eye Level
Is when the shot is at eye point. Like your looking directly at the object/person.

Steve Carr
Task 1

Born in Gore, New Zealand in 1976
Duration: 4mins 53sec

A moment of quiet beauty in a suburban landscape.
Steve has participated in major national and international exhibitions.
Steve has a mild case of dyslexia. he struggles very much with describing his works and imagining things. I see smoke escaping from the back of a car. The burnout is working fine. what i would do differently is view more closer to the car to witness more of what a burnout looks like.

Fabrizio Lonzini
Rebecca

I enjoy Fabrizios photographs. he works with motion and main focus. Images of people and objects moving and still.
In this image he has two people as his main focus and every thing around them moves.

In this image everyone is moving. accept the mid and background people still.
Every day people is walking/riding/running/driving/jogging doing things and i want to base my final image on movement.

Surface Research
Rebecca

To me my definition for surface research is a big tree that symbolises knowledge and growth.

Without our brains we can not lock knowledge in our minds. The more things we know, the more smart and clear minded we get. with out knowledge, theres no meaning to anything

Interacting with others and hearing their ideas and perspectives gains more knowledge, the things we learn about is Gaining knowledge, the things we search about is gaining knowledge.

My Inspiration/Toi

My mum is my inspiration

I believe my talent is from my mum. Her art is my motivation and my mum is my inspiration because she would always encourage me to do so much more with the talent she believes i have. Talk to me about the beautiful places around the world that made me so excited to even hear about.

Places she wished to visit. she would say this world has a lot to offer. Take this life to use your talent, explore and experience different things.

Is where i grew more passionate for art and to find out different bases of art so i chose to gain more knowledge about art and develop each day with new skills.
